Garage Door Options

If you are looking for a new garage door we will come out and give a free site survey and advise on the best option available. We provide new doors in many styles including sectionals, roller doors, up and overs, side hung and more. They all come in many different styles and finishes making it easy to match the look of the rest of the house.

Sectional Doors

Sectional doors are becoming one of the most popular choices for new garage doors in the UK. It's clear why - not only do they look great but they improve insulation and provide great security compared with more traditional designs.

They are usually constructed using a double-skinned, steel panel with insulation foam in between. If the garage is attached to the house, this will dramatically reduce heat loss and lower your bills.

Sectional doors work well if space is limited as the panels move into a track in the garage without any swing out, meaning a car can be parked closer to the door compared to a traditional up and over of door. They are easily automated when paired with an electric operator, giving that ease of opening the garage without getting out of the car.

Roller Doors

Roller doors, like sectionals, provide a well sealed and secure option for your garage. Again, they are great if space is limited as there are no tracks inside the garage. Instead, the horizontal panels roll neatly into a shaft above.

The quality of roller doors currently available on the market varies dramatically and we would recommend investing in a durable door that will last, rather than a cheaper alternative. We only offer manufacturers that we believe provide quality, long-lasting doors and don't believe a product should be installed that doesn't match that criteria.

Compact versions are available too, which don't compromise the opening height if head room is an issue.

Up and Over Doors

Up and over garage doors are still the most traditional door style as well as the most common door type we fit, available as a canopy or retractable depending what is best suited. They can be supplied with or without a steel frame depending on whether an existing wooden frame is already fitted, and come in loads of different panel designs and colours, such as Georgian panel as pictured left.

Hormann or Garador are our preferred manufacturers for up and overs due to the overall build quality and finish, with both options offering a great value garage door without compromising on quality.
